Guest judges include Local Professional Musicians

Categories for judging are:

Song choice, showmanship, and vocal ability

$20 entry fee per person* (fee can be paid for by a sponsor)

Entry fee is non-refundable unless we cancel or postpone the event.

All entrants get a coupon for $20 off dinner for 2 at Mezzo Thai

Winner takes up to $250 cash**

*singers can participate for free by getting a business sponsor. For the $20 entry fee, the sponsor will get generously promoted at the event and a "sponsored by" line on promotional materials.

**Prize amount will be determined by the number of participants and sponsors.

The competition will be postponed with 15 or fewer entrants.

Competition Rules

1. Each singer will sing one song and be judged on the how well the song choice suits their voice, style and range, their level of showmanship - you know - the X Factor - and of course, the actual vocal ability and how well they can sing.

2. All contestants must be amateur singers not under a professional recording contract or currently performing as a profession

3. Solo performances only

4. Singers may be 16 years old or older

5. Order of singers will be chosen at random

6. Contestants can sing the same song as the previous contestants

7. You cannot change your song selection after the registration has closed.

8. All types and forms of music are allowed

9. In the event of a tie, a "sing off" with a new song will determine the winner

10. Judges decision is final

11. Talking to and contact with the judges by contestants or spectators is forbidden. Harassment of the judges is grounds for disqualification from the contest. This contest is to be conducted in the fairest forum possible.

12. Improper behavior, poor sportsmanship, and bad manners that result in disrespect for other spectators, contestants, judges and the host of the venue’s personnel will be grounds for disqualification.

13. All participants give Mezzo Thai Fusion, Divon Karaoke and Crystal Clarity Media permission to use their name, photo,

and video recording for any promotional activities.
